About Joëlle
Welcome to Atelier Medical Aesthetics.
My name is Joëlle Touchette, and I am a Nurse Practitioner specializing in advanced cosmetic injectables and evidence-based skin treatments.
I began my nursing career in 2011 after completing my Bachelor of Nursing (en français) at Université de Saint-Boniface. Over the past decade, I have practiced in diverse clinical environments including surgery, obstetrics, rural emergency, and tertiary care emergency settings. These experiences provided a strong medical foundation rooted in safety, clinical precision, and patient-centered care.
After earning my Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner designation in 2020, I worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner serving Indigenous communities in the Kenora, Ontario region. It was during this time that I launched my medical aesthetics practice. What began as a professional interest quickly evolved into a true passion.
Medical aesthetics is where science meets artistry. I am drawn to this field because it requires both technical expertise and aesthetic vision. My approach is grounded in advanced anatomy, evidence-based practice, and natural-looking results. I believe in subtle enhancement and treatments that refresh and refine while preserving your unique features.
The most rewarding part of my work is seeing clients leave feeling confident, empowered, and aligned with how they want to present themselves to the world. I take pride in building long-term, trusting relationships and creating a clinic environment where patients feel heard, understood, and cared for.
Beyond the Clinic
Outside of Atelier, you’ll find me outdoors gardening, cross-country skiing, or walking forest trails. I enjoy moving my body, yoga, cooking, traveling, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.

Neuromodulators, SkinPen microneedling, and Hydrafacial treatments. These are results-driven procedures that support prevention, skin health, and natural rejuvenation.

Morocco, Portugal, and Bali.
One day, I hope to have chickens, a large garden, and a beautiful yard. A peaceful contrast to the precision and pace of clinical practice!

I am committed to ongoing advanced education, including cadaver-based anatomy training and national and international aesthetic conferences, to continuously refine my skills and deliver the safest, most effective treatments available.
As Atelier Medical Aesthetics continues to grow, my long-term vision is to expand into a fully customized clinic space and build a collaborative team of highly trained nurse injectors, medical aestheticians, and laser technicians.
My goal is to create a multidisciplinary aesthetic destination in Winnipeg. One that blends medical integrity, refined artistry, and an exceptional client experience under one roof.
