About Me

Hello, welcome to l’atelier! My name is Joelle and I am a nurse practitioner (NP) in Kenora, ON. I completed my bachelor’s in nursing in 2011. During my 10 year nursing career I have worked in various setting such as surgery, obstetrics, rural medicine, emergency and primary care. I graduated with my master’s in nursing, family nurse practitioner stream in 2020 which is when I started my training in medical aesthetics. I am grateful to now be living my dream and opening my own practice on beautiful Black Sturgeon Lake in Kenora.

When I am not doing medical aesthetics, I am providing primary NP care in the surrounding areas indigenous communities. Some of them are boat access or ice road access only! Moving to Kenora from Winnipeg has allowed me to expand my professional career and become more adventurous and outdoorsy. Although I’ve always enjoyed being outside, I can now say that I love winter time! In the winter, you can find me riding a snowmobile, cross country skiing and making bonfires on the lake. In the summer time, you’ll find me gardening, attempting to wake surf, cruising on a pontoon boat with my neighbours, or buzzing around on a Seadoo.

Things I miss from Winnipeg: being close to family and friends and the food scene... that pretty much it!

I look forward to meeting you!
